Reading notes

Word forms and cases

A noun form changes with case and number. Compare the singular, dual and plural endings of a familiar stem; the case ending helps show its role in a sentence.

Verb forms and comprehension

A verb form indicates person and number as well as tense or mood. While reading an unseen Sanskrit passage, identify the verb and its subject first, then use nearby case endings to interpret the remaining words.

Practice Sanskrit questions covering Sanskrit Grammar (Sandhi & Karaka), Shabd Roop & Dhatu Roop, Literature & Suktis, with instant scoring and explanations.
