Grammar: words and meaning

A noun names a person, place or thing; a pronoun takes its place. An adjective describes a noun or pronoun. Read a sentence first, then identify each word by the job it does in that sentence.

Sandhi, samasa and passages

In sandhi, neighbouring sounds change when words or sounds meet; in samasa, two or more words form a compound with a shorter expression. For unseen passages, answer from the given text rather than from prior knowledge.

Practice Hindi questions covering Pronouns & Adjectives, Grammar & Phonetics, Sandhi & Samasa, Synonyms, Antonyms & Idioms, with instant scoring and explanations.
